THE BREW HOUSE ASSOCIATION

Welcome

Since 1991, the Brew House Association (BHA) has been a dynamic part of Pittsburgh's growing creative community, providing unique opportunities for artists, as well as the general public, to make meaningful connections with the visual and performing arts.

Located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century brewery, the former Duquesne Brewery, on Pittsburgh's historic South Side, the BHA continues to serve both the general pubic and working artists through its programming of the Brew House spaces: Space 101 and The Performance Garage, helping to make making Pittsburgh a virtual hive of creative activity.

An incubator for the arts, the Brew House hosts unique public programming opportunities that include performance, exhibition, and the creation of original work, while providing artists with a supportive environment to explore new disciplines, and collaborate with other artists.

Additionally, The Brew House offers affordable living and studio loft spaces to qualified tenets, all of whom are working artists contributing to the region. Supporting the healthy growth and sustainability of our community is paramount to our mission and the vitality of our city. Therefore we offer selected commercial businesses the opportunity to rent modern office space or commercial studio space in the Brew House facility
